Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of her game with her electronic pop sound after capturing the public's attention with "Starry Eyed" along with "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the ability to compose catchy, but emotionally sincere songs puts her in the forefront of popular music of the present as well as an independent and artful pop. She ultimately signed a major-label contract to Polydor Records and began making arrangements to release her debut album.
