Summer glau

Firefly, Whedon's new hit series, was a result of her one-off episode. Her character, River Tam, was an intricate character Glau did her best to manage. Tam in the film, as her character in the film named, was the subject of research conducted by the government to make her the ideal assassin. Tam's ability to control emotions was taken away from her. Glau displayed her combat abilities as well as acting talents on Firefly. Glau's ability to fight was enhanced by her training to be an"Assassin. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina. She has also studied flamenco and tango, however her foot injury put an end to her dancing career. Firefly had only one episode but was a huge hit. Whedon was so devoted to Firefly that he went back two years after. Summer Glau however continued to produce high quality. Her TV work includes Cold Case and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
