Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born April 10 1986) was a former model turned actress from India who mostly appeared in Hindi movies. Ayesha received the Filmfare's Best debut Award, which was awarded in 2004, due to her role as lead actress of Taarzan The Wonder Car. The film was her debut as an actor. She then had appearances in movies that have been a big hit like Paathshaala (2010) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Socha Na Tha (2010). The first time she appeared was in a Complan commercial. In the iconic I'm A Complan Boy, I'm a Complan commercial featuring Girl, she was paired with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Additionally, she was featured in the song remix Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin. The huge success of the tune across India throughout its remix phase led to her becoming famous. She began receiving offers to be a part of Bollywood film productions. Takia has been late to release Taarzan The Wonder Car, which had been intended for Socha Na Tha. However, production problems delayed the release. If she spoke out against her father-inlaw, a politician Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi's opinion on how to punish victims of rape, Ayesha demonstrated her moral courage. The public announced that she was vegan at the time she appeared in the PETA India advert. In 2006 she was featured as one the top Attractive Indian Women.
