Brisbane Australia was the birthplace as well as the home of my parents. The daughter of a British father. Clemens was a model on Australian television while she was in high school. She was on Blue Water High's 2006 season as Juliet. In 2007, Alison starred in Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji which was a kids' TV show. Clemens was nominated at the Logie Awards in 2008 for her role as Harper on Showtime's show Love My Way. She was awarded the Graham Kennedy Award and the award for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens was seen in the film Dream Life in 2008. This film is an adaptation from the 1951 novel by Madeleine L'Engle, a young adult writer. The film Silent Hill: Revelation 3D she portrayed teenager Heather Mason. The movie Silent Hill 3 was the sequel to Silent Hill. Based on the Silent Hill 3 survival horror game, the horror movie was inspired by the games Silent Hill 3. Clemens played Valentine Wannop the young suffragette Valentine Wannop. Clemens played the lead role in No One Lives, a 2012 horror movie starring Luke Evans. The actress also starred as a character in The Great Gatsby (2013), a film based off F. Scott Fitzgerald's book of the same name. Catherine Wilson is the younger cousin to Myrtle Wilson portrayed by Isla Fisher. Clemens plays Tawney talbot on Rectify (2013) which was created by Ray McKinnon for the Sundance Channel. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto are set to star alongside Clemens in The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
