Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most acclaimed films. Born and raised in a family of artists located in New York she wished to be a part of the art. She started as a photographic assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising actor. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. The actress has appeared in a variety of different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw is married three times.
